Followers of fantasy writing will know that these two authors are one and the same, and this book is an anthology of tales. I have never read any of Megan Lindholm's books - the first half of this book contains her tales and I found all of them entertaining reading, so much so that I will need to read some of her books.

Regular readers of this e-newsletter will know that I am a fan of Robin Hobb's ‘Six Duchies’ series, which includes the ‘Rain Wild Chronicles’ and the 'Tawny Man’ series. The short stories in the last half of this book include some that fill in perceived gaps in the history of the ‘Six Duchies’. Most enjoyable.
