Tibor Huszár was born on 16 june 1952 in the village of Réca in Czechoslovakia. He graduated from the Film and Television School of the Academy Of Performing Arts in Prague in 1983 and since then he has worked as a free-lance photographer. He lectured on photography in New York and after returning home, he taught at the Art Academy in Banská Bystrica and at the Saints Cyril and Methodius University in Trnava. He published several books and had dozens of solo exhibitions in Slovakia and abroad. He received many awards for his photographic work.
